THE ROMEO’S STORY
Welcome to our little Unreal corner of the Mediterranean—where animation meets absurdity, love collides with high-octane energy, and family tradition clashes with passionate romance. This animated tale follows Romeo; a singing scooter menace whose thunderous Italian lovesong turns the entire neighborhood upside down—literally.
CHARACTERS
ROMEO
This is Romeo. The only thing more powerful than his love for Julieta is the earth-shattering strength of his serenade. Announced by the roar of his trusty scooter, he rides into the neighborhood bringing passion for Julieta—and unsolicited entertainment for everyone else.
VANE, THE FATHER
Vane is a Balkan immigrant and the proud (and unlucky) father of Julieta. A humble man who knows everything, fears nothing, and feeds everyone. The only thing that stirs unease in his heart is the distant sound of a two-stroke, single-cylinder, four-speed Vespa—the cursed chariot of his future son-in-law and his terrible singing, growing louder with each approach.
ROSA, THE MOTHER
First, she’s not to blame for falling in love so young. Second, her name is not Ruza—it’s Rosa, like the beautiful, blooming rose she once was before that wild Balkan tree of a man stole her heart and her best years. Now he’s the one trying to stop the kids from having fun, though he has no idea how, dragging everything into disaster—just like he did with her youth.
